November, 2017 | Whitmore Lake, MI- Coming back from presenting at LED Specifier Summit in Chicago, IL, EDSS is gearing up for Chain Store Age’s 53rd Annual SPECS conference set for March 12-14th, 2017. Advisory Board Member and EDSS COO, Sonja Berry, attended the October planning session to discuss the upcoming show’s agenda and educational sessions. Ms. Berry is one of 45 industry executives from leading retail companies and key supplier organizations that make up the SPECS advisory board.
Alongside Ms. Berry, SPECS board members are responsible for directing the educational sessions which includes workshops, roundtable discussions, and panel presentations covering an array of topics relevant to retailers today. SPECS 2017, taking place at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee, FL will welcome retail leaders and suppliers to learn, share ideas, develop business partnerships and solve problems across the physical and digital retail space.
SPECS is an annual event attended by retail and food-service corporate executives involved in the planning, design, construction and “must do” maintenance of stores and restaurants nationwide. This year’s event will highlight changes in the retail industry, green initiatives like energy efficiency and LEED Certification, and the Internet of Things—a feature in the latest October issue of Chain Store Age Magazine.
